Visitors include; local and out-of-town schools (Grades K-12), University and College classes and field-camps, youth groups, International students and groups, plus many more! Intensive full-day G.P.S/G.I.S training courses are also provided for individuals or groups working with spatial data. We also host family events with our annual Fall Fair and Spooky Night in October and Christmas in the Forest in December. We can provide meeting space for groups up to 180 people, use of our computer lab, catered meals to suit your tastes, accommodations and programs to enhance your time. We can provide meeting space for groups up to 180 people, use of our computer lab, catered meals to suit your tastes, accommodations and programs to enhance your time. There's a lot to see and do in the Bonfield to Mattawa corridor! Our facilities are available to any organization wishing to conduct their own education programs. Available for your use are, two large meeting rooms (approximately 3000 sq. ft. each), one of which can be divided in half, a computer lab featuring fifteen networked computers which are fibre optically connected to the internet, a new 1100 sq. ft meeting room, a board room and a small meeting room.We can provide a Laptop computer, Infocus projector, overhead projector, slide projector, television and VCR, as well as flip charts and a screen. There are a variety of meal options available to The Canadian Ecology Centre guests. If you would like to prepare your own meals, we can provide you with a barbecue at the shared use dining cabin to do your cooking. We can also arrange for one of our caterers to prepare meals in our new industrial kitchen to suit a variety of tastes and dietary needs. Another option is to visit one of the local restaurants.  | Maple and Oak Trivett One large meeting room that is approximately 3000 sq. feet which can seat 180 people for large events and can be divided in half for smaller meetings. Maple has a serving area with a pantry, refrigerator, double sink, microwave, and coffee maker. Both rooms have internet connections. |  | Tamarack FedNor RoomLocated on the second floor of the Main Building, the Tamarack FedNor room is our newest meeting room. This room is a well appointed 1,000 sq feet room suitable for up to 50 people seated at tables. A great carpeted, naturally lit room for a meeting or even for events like a yoga retreat. |  | Pine CabinThis smaller, private meeting room is perfect for up to 14 people and is ideal for conference calls. It is located amongst the trees a short walk from the Main Building. Coffee/tea and snack breaks can be brought in, or provided in the dining cabin next door. Pine has internet connections, and also has washroom facilities. |  | Aspen Board RoomLocated on the second floor of the Main Building, the Board Room is a nice size for up to 10 people, and a good space for conference calls. It has internet connections. |  | Computer LabOur computer lab is equipped with fifteen networked computers which are fibre optically connected to the internet. Not only is the lab used for our technology programs, it can be reserved for showcasing websites, software demonstrations and training. The computer lab is also open during office hours for guests to use the internet and connect to home. |  | Birch Dining Hall Clean modern facilities. We strive to serve well balanced meals and always ask if there are any food allergies and/or preferences. Our caterer checks with the participants and makes changes after their arrival to accommodate any special needs. Meal times are as set out in the schedule with flexibility for the instructor to request changes as necessary. |  | Dining CabinThe Dining Cabin is generally a shared facility for individual guests. It can be reserved for private meals and gatherings. It is equipped with a stove, fridge, triple sink, toaster, microwave, and some cooking utensils.
