In the winter, new trails naturally carve their way through the forest as the snow covers the overgrowth from previous seasons. There are miles of virgin snow for snowshoeing and trails for cross country skiing. For the kids or to bring back the child in you guests can enjoy a little old-fashioned tobogganing right from our door step.
Nature's Harmony's 'Off-the-Grid' Lodging features Nature's Harmony's a beautiful log home with two guest rooms and two secluded log cabins (soon to be completed), each with the comforts of home but without the environmental impact. We intend to use our home as a demonstration model for living of-the-grid. Our guests can enjoy their stay while learning about environmental sustainability and energy conservation.
The focus of Nature's Harmony is to bring people of all ages and cultures back to nature to enjoy life's simple pleasures. In the morning, you can wake up to the sun rising over the Laurentian Mountains. At night, relax in the sauna, let yourself be mesmerized by a campfire or bring your instruments for a sing-a-long. On a clear night, the stars will take your breath away. Don't forget to make a wish on a shooting star. And if it's near a full moon, the forest looks as though it is catching fire as the moon rises over the mountain range. It is a place to relax and rejuvenate.
