MATTAWA EQUESTRIAN CLUB SCHOOLING SHOWS
The Mattawa Equestrian Club (MEC) is proud to announce that they will be hosting 3 schooling shows this year. All shows begin at 9:00am and will take place at Freedom Acres, 366 Chenier Rd in Mattawa, ON (Papineau-Cameron township). A canteen will be available on site, offering hot food and beverages all day. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to Champions from each division. Spectators can enjoy the show for free while they cheer on their favourite horse and rider.

DOUBLE HH RANCH TRAIL RIDE
The Double HH Ranch is organizing a FREE trail ride in Mattawa Voyageur Country; everyone is welcome! Riders will be taken to a gorgeous secluded beach where they will enjoy a catered barbecue lunch for a small fee. The ride will last approximately 6 hours in length; 2 hours riding in, 2 hours at the beach, and 2 hours riding back out.

DOUBLE HH RANCH EXTREME COWBOY RACE
The Double HH Ranch is hosting its first Extreme Cowboy Race.
The race is designed to push both horse and rider out of their comfort zone and put their communication skills to the test. The team will have to complete a series of obstacles such as: saddling, dragging logs, jumping, pole bending, crossing bridges and creeks, etc. Competitors will be timed and judged for the quality of horsemanship, control and execution. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three riders and the overall winner will claim the title of Extreme Cowboy or Cowgirl. Register today if you think you and your horse are ready for the extreme challenge!
Spectators are encouraged to come out and show support for their favourite team. BBQ and refreshments will be available at the event for those in attendance.
